Uh. [Ichiro lets Sasara sweep him in, right off his feet. This all seems innocent enough, puns aside.]

Quests n' stuff. I finally got a full-time job, though. [At a flower shop, of all things, but it's a job and he likes his employer. He's also been on dates with Jyushi but as if Sasara needs to know that! He especially doesn't need to know how they've barely done more than holding hands!]

The sky looks like shit but it's still pretty mundane here. What about you? [A pause.] I uh, heard about Rosho-san.

[ Ichiro, laugh a little! Or Sasara-san will have to pull your frown into a smile with his fingers. ] A job? Geez, you're all work and no play like always, ain't cha!

[ Heh! It's fine though, as Sasara gives him a solid pat on the shoulder and keeps his own grin for a moment longer. W-well, if Ichiro so much as breathes a word on that other thing... Sasara so needs to know!! He'd spilled it all about MCD's time, but in the end Jyushi had kept a tight lock on the details of his own budding love story.

But lucky him(?), it ain't what Sasara plans to dig into. At the mention of Rosho, however— ]

E-eh... ya heard, huh? [ So even he is, suddenly but honestly, somewhat sullen.

In the end he still got Rosho's half of it, that he'd talked to Ichiro; so suppose Ichiro got the parts Sasara never told about while they were running Tokyo.

His glibness now has gotta come across similar. ] I suppose, I know as much as ya do about it. It'll work out some way, though.

Mm. It'll work out. [He agrees.] And, well. At least for now, you know he's waiting for you at home, safe and sound. [That fact remains one of the few things keeping Ichiro from worrying himself sick over his brothers.]

[ He definitely expects Ichiro to bolt! Which is just why Sasara rushes back to the doorway between living room and entryway. He wedges himself in the frame in some X-stance, a barricade that'd snap like a twig. But with a conviction and an eye for prying! ]

[Ichiro may not be as prone to violence as he was back when Sasara knew him originally, but it's good that he knows his junior is still just a few pushed buttons away from knocking him out in his own home.

It's the fact that Sasara knows he's digging where he's not supposed to that annoys Ichiro the most.]

It'd be real fuckin' weird if we started being all chummy just because we're in another world. Don't see how it's any of your business anyway.
